Fred. Olsen Windcarrier operates high-speed catamaran and monohull vessels built for safe and efficient transport of goods and personnel to and from offshore wind farms. All the vessels are designed with comfort and safety in mind, giving our clients efficient and reliable service. Our competent and dedicated crew and staff are ensuring quality operation to the highest standards.

The Bayard class vessels are multi-purpose and specifically designed and built for supporting offshore wind farms. The vessels are known for their outstanding performance, and in combination with their flexibility and efficiency, they are redefining the role of maritime support in the offshore wind industry.

The catamaran hull, with its ability to limit the vessel’s movements in open sea, ensures safe transfer of service technicians to the wind turbines, and optimizes passengers’ comfort while under way. The vessels have extensive deck space to cater for spare parts, tools, as well as two 10-foot-long containers if needed. The vessels are classed by DNV, thus ensuring the highest standard for our clients.
